Our Services

Cayenne Training & Development is focused on bringing training opportunities to volunteers throughout the Portland, OR Metro area including Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties.

Scholarships may be available to students or organizations with an emergency preparedness or community resilience mission. Contact us to discuss options!

CPR/AED + First Aid

Life-saving techniques for cardiac arrest and other cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. First aid curriculum includes basic interventions for life-threatening bleeding, minor wounds, opioid overdose, choking, and other topics.

3-8 hours classroom time. CPR/AED only starts at $500 per class, minimum 10 students.

Patient assessment and basic first aid for remote or austere environments.

16-20 hours classroom time. Training starts at $2750 per class, minimum 10 students.

Gain the ability to recognize and control life-threatening bleeding quickly and effectively.  This course can be taught alone or as part of a broader first aid training. 

Advanced topics for disaster volunteers Including CERT Basic medical operations and triage, sheltering, and team leadership for volunteers in disaster situations.

Curricula tailored to student needs and training objectives.

The Small Print

All trainings are led by a Health & Safety Institute (HSI) and Red Cross approved instructor. Costs include instructor fees, student materials, and certificates for students that successfully complete the training. CPR training is American Heart Association (AHA) compliant.
